Pictures from the "Stuff I've Made" folder!Over the weekend, I finished this epic journey of a cardigan, which was inspired by one in the somewhat overrated Stitch and Bitch book. The pattern was rather too big for my modest bust, so I remade the pattern using this snazzy peice of software. The resulting garmet knitted up rather too short, so I knitted a rib on to the bottom, which I feel gives the peice more structure. The cardigan was knit with the Bendigo Woolen Mills 8ply Rustic, in Green Opal, which is lovely and warm and has tiny flecks throughout the yarn. The edging is a homespun(by moi!) merino. Lovely. It is really great to wear and I'm ever so glad that I knitted something that I really wanted. Goodness I love cardigans.
... And this just in this morning- new photos of the super snazzy Grand Slam guitar strap courtesy of Janet.
